Don't go about searching for it!
Don't think you can catch it by chasing it!
You cannot buy it with love or lucre!
It eludes you
Coz you are looking in all the wrong places.
Look inside you;
And you will see it hiding beneath all those queries and doubts,
Entangled in the entrails of mundane activities,
Enmeshed in your pride and prejudices,
Steeped in spite and callousness,
Chained by greed and lust.
Recognise it and push aside the cobwebs of obstacles
That hide it from your view.
Embrace it and you shall experience God.
